This knit’s recycled cashmere yarn is created through an innovative process using excess cashmere fibers that are usually discarded during the production process. The yarn is developed using recycled pure cashmere obtained exclusively from selected industrial knitwear cuttings and are CO2 free. The fibers are gathered and re-spun to produce high-end, traceable and low-impact yarns. This re-use of untreated, clean materials complies with worldwide ecotoxicological standards and gives the fibers a new life cycle.
The mill’s raw materials are Global Recycling Standard (GRS) and SA8000 certified, with a confirmed LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) study performed by Prima Q on the cashmere and wool products. The mill is also dedicated to safeguarding local water reservoirs after the dying process.
Made in New York of imported fabric.
